Corporate Headquarters

We are committed to the health, safety and well‐being of our employees, suppliers, partners and local communities in which we live and work. Accordingly:

  • We provide workplaces that encourage and facilitate diversity, equal opportunities, personal and professional development, optimal performance and employee engagement.
  • We are committed to a diverse workplace, including gender equality and support of minority groups, with a strong collaborative culture. 29% of our Board of Directors is comprised of female members, 47% of our corporate employees are female and 25% of our named executive officers are female. In addition, 29% of our corporate employees identify as a member of an ethnic and/or racial minority group. We are an equal opportunity employer.
  • We regularly conduct trainings to educate our employees on various issues, including sexual harassment and diversity. We partner with an unaffiliated vendor to monitor a confidential and secure online and telephonic reporting structure whereby our employees may report, among other things, any issues with discrimination. In addition, our Code of Business Conduct expressly sets forth that discrimination of any kind will not tolerated.
  • As a team, we participate in community volunteer days each year with local organizations that align with our corporate citizenship goals.
  • We encourage and support our employees who involve themselves in public and charitable service.
  • We are committed to supporting the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons.
  • We aim to build long-term relationships with our suppliers and support small and local businesses.
  • We aim to work together with local organizations and charities and create partnerships that are aligned with our business values.
  • We aim to work with suppliers and advisors who:
    • Share our goals and values with respect to social responsibility.
    • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including employment, wage and hour, health and safety, gaming, environmental, immigration, tax, anti-bribery, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering.
    • Institute and enforce policies prohibiting unlawful harassment and discrimination and provide mechanisms for reporting policy violations.
    • Neither condone nor support, directly or indirectly, human trafficking, abusive, or illegal labor activity.
    • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives, incorporating women, minorities, veterans, and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons.

New York Restoration Project

In August 2019, we partnered with the New York Restoration Project to complete general stewardship in Sherman Creek Park, a former illegal waste dumping site located in New York City that now includes a children’s garden, a boathouse and a pavilion, in addition to hiking and biking trails, waterfront and picnic spaces and naturalized areas. Our volunteer efforts supported a long-term plan for Sherman Creek Park, including a focus on regenerating a functional ecosystem that is habitable for birds and pollinators, and creating a welcoming space for the surrounding communities.

The Bowery Mission

In January 2020, we donated to The Bowery Mission to serve immediate needs of the population of nearly 70,000 people experiencing homelessness and hunger in New York City. Since 1870, The Bowery Mission has served three meals a day, seven days per week at four sites in Manhattan, New York and our team volunteered to support kitchen and maintenance staff for breakfast, including serving 248 meals, managing deliveries and inventory of donated supplies, and conducting post-service cleanup
